Job description

Super Paws Pet Care is looking for responsible, mature dog walkers/pet sitters to fill  several part time positions. 

 

As a Pet Sitter/Dog Walker:

You will be driving to the client's home and walk their dogs and feed and care for their pets, therefore all of our sitters MUST live within their service area, have pets of their own, and have had a thorough criminal and background check run on them.

Qualifications: You must love animals, have pets of your own, an excellent work history, and a clean criminal record. Vet tech, trainer, animal services or kennel experience a plus! You need to be detail oriented, a self starter, and have good people skills. Dog Walkers/Pet Sitters must be physically able to walk dogs of all sizes, for 20-30 mins, in all kinds of weather. This job requires you to drive to client's houses and provide daily dog walks/potty breaks and pet sitting services. You must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays (especially Thanksgiving & Christmas).

To be considered for an open position, you will need to have:

*A reliable, fuel efficient tagged and inspected vehicle with insurance and valid drivers license

*Cell phone with texting abilities and Internet access

* Must be able to pass a background check

*Current references

​* Can make at least a 9 month commitment to working with Super Paws Pet Care Pet sitters are EMPLOYEES of Super Paws Pet Care (NOT Independent Contractors) and are paid a fixed amount per walk/visit. (More than minimum wage). We offer on the job training and Worker's Comp coverage. "Hours: All positions are on a part time, as needed basis. Weekends, school vacations, summer and holidays are peak travel times and we do ask that all Pet Sitters/Dog Walkers be available to work during these times. Walks/Sits are often booked at last minute and flexibility in your schedule is a plus.'
